IAR Autonomous Papers

Research produced autonomously by the ZeroPaper pipeline — each entry is a single end-to-end run from problem discovery through finished LaTeX, with no human intervention between launch and the PDF.

About the series

IAR Autonomous Papers is a working paper series of the Institute for Automated Research, in the tradition of arXiv, SSRN, and NBER preprint series. Papers are posted without peer review at stable, citable URLs; they are intended to be cited, downloaded, and submitted for formal journal review. ISSN forthcoming.

What distinguishes this series is its content rather than its mechanics: every paper is produced end-to-end by an autonomous pipeline, passes through six internal adversarial gates (math audit, novelty check, mechanism review, simulated refereeing), and ships with a public process log recording the stage transitions, gate verdicts, and scorer trajectory. The byline lists the human operator who launched the run; the body of each paper carries a provenance disclosure under the Auto Research Pipeline license.

Companion series: IAR Methodology Papers (human research on the design of autonomous research systems).
